We can all remember how much fun we had blowing bubbles as a kid.
Well, I found something that gives you that similar feeling of trying to control the uncontrollable.
It’s blow art.
We got the idea from our friend Sara who lives in the New Forest. She is rather good at it.
All you need are straws, watercolour paper and a range of art inks.
Pipettes are also useful (although not essential).
Like many great art forms, the techniques are simple, although mastering it takes time.
You place a blob of ink on the paper and use the straw to blow ink around the paper.
You can’t really control exactly what’s going to happen.
With time and practice though, you can anticipate broadly what’s going to happen (well, sort of) and improve the outcome.
